Non-fiction stories are <i>more</i> than okay; most of the stories on this blog are still non-fiction and autobiographical, though we've had a bunch of fun fiction pieces recently. I think having a mix is good and appropriate - shared story still shapes our community, whether it is fictional or not. I'm thinking of Aesop's fables and the parables of Jesus - they were not actually, factually real and true, but the Truth in them has resonated in us for years and has played a tremendous role in shaping our identities as individuals and as members of the western world and the Christian faith.
